Tuesday. (Evening) Nov. 15th ‘05
Dear Family
“We will wait another week and see what happens”
That’s the word here today at God’s waiting
room in Oklahoma City. (on Judy’s hormone/cancer
level) Judy is receiving her chemo treatment as I write
this. Over 8 months of care, close to 30 multiple
treatments, approx. 16 units of blood. Hundreds of
injections, several prescriptions, 46 days hospitalized,
thousands of miles, and thousands of dollars. God’s
will many times is like a tapestry. It takes many threads
to weave what He wants to accomplish. From a distance it
easier to watch. Get behind it and it is a confusing
conglomeration of lines with no meaning. Looking at it
everyday from up close and it can become tiring. And yet
each person has a perspective. I am sure God knew that
when He told us to call on others to help us. Last night
I was so ill I had to go to bed and rest. A phone call
from Christian Brothers in our community (From other
churches) Came to our house. They wanted to help with
some of the drywall in our new building. My Son Johnathan
went out to work with them. I left early this morning
with Judy for OKC so I haven’t seen their progress
yet. A youth group in Arizona sent Judy and I a jar with
a collection in it to help with her needs. God keeps
weaving This tapestry and we are slowing progressing and
someday will see it in all it’s beauty. Thank all of
you Brothers and Sisters for your daily prayers and help.
We will forever be eternally grateful. More Thoughts and
good news later Agape Chuck P.S. We Just Got home from
OKC. Before we left the Doctor gave us several injections
to build up Judy’s blood over the next two weeks.
She begins yet another chemo treatment that will be a
stronger prescription on Nov. 29th. It will take several
hours in his office and then a regiment of oral meds at
home. All this to try and take out that last “8”
on her HCG. Levels. ……..We continue to trust.
