Today's Update: Includes Friday & Sunday

Dear Friends 

Friday July 15th 11:30 p.m. 

I am sorry it’s been a couple of days since I have sent an update. This week Judy 
has continued to gain small steps of strength. However we battle each day with her 
blood count. We go each morning for blood work at the local hospital. If Judy’s 
count is low they give her another shot. Her arms and legs are bruised from more 
injections than I wish to remember. Yet she keeps a sweet spirit through it all. 
Today was the first day that her lungs have gained enough strength to sing a note! 
Those of you who know Judy have heard her very pretty soprano voice. Her note was 
weak and breathy but it was her first in over 2 months and it was full of God’s grace. 
Her smile after it made my day! If you have a healthy strong voice, find a place 
where you can shout; “Praise the Lord!” and then sing a spiritual song. It's a real 
privilege to be able to! Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all 
wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, 
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. NKJV

Dear Friends

Sunday  July 17th  5:00 p.m.  

We Went to church together today! Judy Got to sing! (Her voice is an alto
right now but it sure sounds good to us!) At the end of service she came
up on stage with a little help, and John Judy, Dawn and I sang an old
song “Running a race” It was such a blessing. Judy Goes for Chemo again
on Tuesday. Her blood dropped from 22 to 6
on her white cells. We return to the hospital tomorrow for a shot.
