Today's Update: This includes Saturday, Sunday & Monday!

Dear Friends 

Monday July 4th 3:00 p.m. 

Well here we are back in God’s waiting room. Edmond hospital room 308. We just 
got the news we should have gotten in Ponca City but someone dropped the ball. 
Judy’s white cells are to low for chemo. So here we are until they go up enough 
to proceed. Judy cried. I was quickly reminded she didn’t know all the drill. 
She was concerned they would not go up. Yes Judy is human. I explained this 
happened on all three of her treatments. The difference is we went home and she 
didn’t have an injection each day like she did at the hospital. She took courage 
from the knowledge. (I am not a doctor but I play one here at Edmond Med. Center. ha) 
I am reminded again that we are on God’s time table. So we will lift our eyes and 
look for opportunities to share Him where we can. I Know you will pray that Judy 
cells will rebound soon. It’s 2:45 a.m. The nurse has just entered the room to 
draw blood for another check. She said if it has gone up while we have been 
waiting they can start chemo today. Please if you get this soon, 
talked to the Lord with us.

Dear Friends

Sunday  July 3rd  10:00 p.m. 

I took Judy today to the hospital for her third injection to raise herwhite blood cells.
She has gained even more strength today. We leave at 6:00 a.m. to head
for Edmond Hospital for the beginning of her forth chemo. I know you will
pray that the chemo continues to kill the cancer. The doctor said when
she gets a clear x-ray they will go two treatments past that and call it
in remission. We are praying for that to happen soon so she will not have
to go through whole 18 weeks remaining. (Not our will but the Lord’s bedone).

Judy was unable to attend service at God’s church today. Yet through the
advances of tecnology I called her from my cell to our home phone where
we set up a head set for Judy. Judy had her cell and Johnathan was on
call with his cell if Judy had any challenges. She heard  the service
with the phone on the pulpit and was blessed! (Note: Only use this
knowledge for good! Ha!) We love you all.

Dear Friends

Saturday  July 2nd  9:00 p.m. 

The motto of God’s church is “Experience Freedom” That has many meanings
to many people. To us it is freedom from sin, guilt, sorrow, and too many
more to mention. Freedom to one person may seems like bondage to 
another.I was able to handle my lack of freedom while Judy was in the hospital by
giving myself over to being in God’s waiting room. A great hero of mine
was Charles W. Naylor. He was a prisoner of a crippled body for over 40
years! Yet he wrote songs with words like: “be an over comer only cowards
yield when the foe they meet on the battle field. We are blood bought
princes of the royal host and must falter not nor desert our post!” In
another place he said: “I mean to go right on until the crown is won. I
mean to fight the fight of faith till life on earth is done. I’ll never
more turn back. Defeat I shall not know, for God will give me victory if
onward I shall go!” Doesn’t sound like words written from a bed does it?
Thank God for freedom! For our great country! For His Church!

My son loaned me his convertible and Judy and I took a ride around thePonca Lake.
Cherish every moment you have with those you love! Judy and I always have
so we haven’t had to change anything, except I do think I hug her a
couple of seconds longer than I use too.
