Dear Friends
Saturday July 30th 4:30 p.m.
I had planned to write you today and tell all of you that
our next update would be after Judy’s treatment at
OKC on Tuesday Aug. 2nd. But as I have learned all to
well plans can be changed in a moment. Our prayer needs
for this weekend. Judyconcerning. Her white count has
fallen even though she ’s blood report today is very
has received medication to help it to rise. She has a low
grade fever and she may need at least 2 units of blood.
We have called both Doctors but it is the weekend and we
left messages. The nurse at our Hospital is very
concerned and gave us her number. The challenge is Judy
can not have regular blood. It has to go through a
special procedure, cross checked and it comes from OKC.
And itweekend! Now God knows all that. We have returned
home ’s the to pray and wait and we are asking you
as we know you will to pray that Judy’s blood will
return to normal without having to make a rush to OKC. We
as always rest on our collective prayers and a God who
loves us more than we will ever know.

Dear Friends
Friday July 30th 12:00 midnight.
After our daily appointment at Via Christa Hospital this
a.m. Judy’s blood work continues to rise slowly. We
Thank God for inches as well as the miles. I returned
this week to a part time Job at the same Law office where
Judy worked. My position is one of representing clients
and compiling intake information for the Lawyers they
will retain. Judy is so anxious to be able to go back to
work there. Our Daughter in law is staying with us for a
couple of days and that has given me the opportunity to
put in 4 hours each afternoon. Judy has been gaining
strength and I am hoping she will be able to be alone for
those afternoon hours so I can continue this opportunity.
I know you will pray for her and for the strength she
needs. God’s church building is enclosed now except
for the entrance doors. The air conditioners are
installed and duct work begun. We are looking into
completing the restroom facilities and stage so we can
begin having services there as soon as possible. If you
are a framing carpenter and live within driving distance
and would like to donate your time to a worthy ministry,
give us a call! There is never a dull moment in the
Scroggs family, or God’s church family!
