Today's Update:

Wednesday Evening Aug 31st 12:45 a.m. (Thur.morning)

Dear Friends 

Judy’s appetite returned today and her mouth sores were much improved. 
She surprised me at 11:30 this evening by getting out of bed and making 
homemade pancakes! This was Judy’s first time to make or cook something 
since her sickness. She is still in isolation at home but her white cells 
began to rise today. It was just another 1/2 a point but we thank God for 
the progress. I am so proud of her walk with the Lord. I watch her everyday 
endure so many challenges that we haven’t talked about. I remember in my 
first pastorate back in Indiana, a Brother coming up to me after church and saying: 
“Tell me the truth pastor, Judy is not that happy and positive all the time is she?” 
My answer to him then and now over two decades later, Yes! She is like that 
all the time. Judy has been such an example of how Jesus would go through 
something like this. I am a very fortunate husband. Thank you God for giving 
me such a help mate, and thank all of you for your prayers that are 
helping us through this journey
