Wednesday Sept. 28th ‘05
Dear Family
Yesterday, Judy’s doctor ordered us back to Edmond
Medical Center for a chest x-ray. Every time I walk those
halls it is very difficult to suppress the images that
come to mind. I believe it at times to be an attack of
Satan. One day we entered this place for a simple
procedure and were unable to return to our home for 46
days! After a short prayer and keeping the hand of faith
intact we proceeded to Radiology, As soon as the picture
was taken the nurse called us to the viewing screen. I
ask the attendant to please place the April 19th film and
the May 15th picture on the screen in order. Judy had
never seen these x-rays. There was the first one with
cancer the size of BB”s next to it was the May 15th
film which showed Judy’s lungs full from top to
bottom. All she could say as she viewed this for the very
first time in 6 months was; “O MY!” Then our
eyes turned to September 27th (Yesterday’s) x-ray.
It was more clear than the very first one taken on April
19th! PRAISE THE LORD! We are so close to eradicating
this awful disease. Your prayers have continued to be
like the vision God gave Judy at the beginning of this
journey. Thousands of hands holding her body toward the
sky and the reaching healing hands of Jesus coming to
heal in response to the prayers of his people. Please
stay with us in these next few weeks. So many wonderful
things are happening and the devil doesn’t like it.
We have things that only Jesus through prayer can help
lift us through at this time. New people continue to come
to God’s church and our new building is progressing
very quickly. The last two nights my oldest Son Chuck who
is straw bossing the construction worked around the clock
to help us be close enough to meet in it this coming
Sunday. We will not be completely finished but
circumstances are encouraging us on. One day soon my
vision of Judy standing in this new facility and
proclaiming “I'm Cancer free” Will also come to
pass.

P.S. Several have said they haven’t contacted us
because they think we are overwhelmed with cards, letters
and e-mails. Please don’t let that stop your
contacts. We all have very busy lives I understand but as
of late we haven’t had very many correspondences. So
if God leads you follow up! We can use the encouragement
at this time. Sometimes the last mile of a race can be
the most challenging!
